Happy 250th birthday America!
With God at the helm, He brought a day of freedom into the USA 250 years ago. Independence Day in America is a day to be grateful for living in one of the best country’s in the world. I personally am grateful to believe that it was God who granted our country this privilege as He moved through many who fought and died for our country to be free.
We are free to love Jesus, free to talk about Jesus as Lord here, and we are free to go to church! We are free to pray and we are free to read our Bibles in our home or wherever we go inside our borders. We are free to teach our families about Jesus and we are free to share the gospel of Christ openly. We are free!!!! I’ve traveled in countries where they are “not free” to do these things. It’s sad, very different and most certainly oppressive!
I pray we never take for granted the freedom we have in Christ Jesus within America! And although we live in the most “free” country in the world, there is nothing greater that will ever compare to the “FREEDOM” we will have when we surrender our hearts, our lives, our everything, to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Galatians 5:1, declares, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free,” and John 8:36, states, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
May we celebrate the freedom that is truly the BEST FREEDOM of all. It is knowing that Jesus is our personal Lord and Savior and bowing our knee to Him in love and gratitude. Believe in our hearts that He died so that we can live if we believe by faith, and if we ask Him to forgive us personally and come into our heart to be Lord over us.
Freedom today is a reminder of celebrating true freedom. May you have a blessed and beautiful day and life, celebrating both freedoms if you live here in America.
