EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“Those who find true wisdom obtain the tools for understanding, the proper way to live, for they will have a fountain of blessings pouring into their lives. To gain the riches of wisdom is far greater than gaining the wealth of the world.” (Proverbs 3:16)
We are children of God, and we are declared righteous through Faith in Jesus Christ. Sometimes we forget that our life is a faithwalk with God. We have expectations, and we want them met quickly. But when they aren’t, sometimes our faith waivers.
This hit me in the face these past couple months. My head trauma has been acting up, like I’ve been told may happen from whiplash, since my accident back in December. Although I’d been given the all clear from cat scans, X-rays and tests done, I’ve thought all sorts of nasty things these past months. What is it? Why does it hurt? Is it something else? I’ve felt a lot of pressure and unusual things going on, and I’m sure the enemy wants me to believe only the worst. I started to…
Do I confidently and safely walk in the grace and favor of God, letting me live? Are all His blessings disposed of because my faith in what He did began to waver with lies the devil wants me to believe?
We must all walk by faith and not by sight, or appearance, or feelings. We must trust in the Lord with all our hearts and minds, and not rely on our own insight or understanding. When things get rough, we need to give it back to God and ask Him for His divine guidance.
Shut out distractions, focus your love and attention on Jesus when lies get in your way. Cling to wisdom because it will guard you. Wisdom brings honor and it promotes you.
Today I confessed to God that I was letting fear get in the way of what I know to be His truths. Yes, I have after-effects of the accident. But the things that I allowed to enter my mind were definitely not what God wants me to dwell on. I gave the fear to Him today in surrender and confessed it, then prayed for the issues to stop. I will trust God where my faith lacked and not exacerbate the problems with stress building up. I will place my hope in Him and run, and not grow weary. How about you? What do you do when fear sets in?
As we walk in the wisdom that God brings us, we will be blessed with a long life, riches, honor, and true peace. God’s wisdom is a tree of life. And I will cling to it!
“You came near when I called to you; you said, do not fear.” (Lamentations 3:57)
Read the top scripture again and also James 1:5. ❤️ Trust God and the wisdom He gives you and then, walk by faith.
