Sharing stories is a powerful way we can learn, so here is one for today sent in by a woman world leader…
As one of Voice of Truth’s editions made its way to the mailbox, this little story made a huge impact for God’s Kingdom.
– While standing in line at the post office on a fairly quiet afternoon, a woman world leader patiently waited to make her way in line to the checkout. Within her hearing range, she overheard the clerk, post master, who was sadly talking to a customer. He was describing the hardship his wife was battling at home, being ill with cancer, and saying his day-to-day at work was very difficult. He expressed the toll it had taken on him over time since he was a man who works full time and could not tend regularly to his wife at home or assist her in her weakening state of health. He had to hold his job, becoming stressed over not having adequate time to comfort his struggling wife at home alone. As much as he would like to be home with her, it hurt him knowing that he had to work to keep providing, leaving her terminally sick and alone.
As our sweet Women World Leader was listening, she makes her way closer to the check out, and she is heartwrenched over his story.
She made her way to the counter next, and with the same clerk who was so sad. She felt such compassion that she reached into her purse and pulled out her “only” copy of Voice of Truth magazine. It was gently tucked away in her bag for her own reading pleasure later that day. She would read it while waiting at the doctor’s office.
As God had it, she stepped forward, handing the distraught man her magazine while describing what it was and what was inside of it.
“I couldn’t help but hear about your sweet wife at home alone, and I know this will help her.” And she handed him the VOT magazine! She proceeded to say, “This is filled with comforting words and stories for your wife, they are uplifting bible scriptures, and there is hope within and healing from God’s Word. Would you give this to your wife?”.
Immediately, all eyes and ears in the post office were drawn to the conversation. It drew so much attention from even the other clerks and customers. Many later inquired about the magazine. It was handed over to the man. God allowed it to be the center of attention; He obviously prompted the plan.
God moved that day. He provided a moment for the woman to share faith, God and show love through Voice of Truth. Overwhelmed with the kind responses and encouragement it brought, she was in tears.
This “random act of kindness” touched so many that day.

Our Woman World Leader’s final words as she walked away from the post master were, “I’ll pray for your wife, sir, and pray that Voice of Truth touches her heart in ways you can’t right now.”❤
The man, obviously touched by what was given to him for his wife, had tears in his eyes and said, “Thank you, I know it will.” And he tucked it in his drawer.
We later found out that he brought the magazine home to his wife.
Fast forward —the wwl found out on another visit that “Terry” is now being comforted through the pages of Tears to Triumph, as well as Voice of Truth and the Gospel message of Jesus. That same postman said it brought her uplifting encouragement, and she loved it.
Carry your magazine with you whenever you can. Share it with others, that’s what it is for. How many “Terrys” are out there in this world?
