EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
There are so many things whirling around in our world today. We can’t watch TV without getting concerned. The world isn’t in any worse shape than it’s ever been; we just know a lot more about it and have much more access than we’ve ever had in our lifetime. But we definitely see signs of the times as God tells us in His Word.
We have constant availability to what is swirling around us. Much of what we see is concerning and can lead to stress, anxiety, worry, and even fear. But what does God say? He tells us, “Take heart, He has overcome the world.” God does not want us worried and upset!
All in all, the Bible truths are here for us to read as we need them. They stand true and promising, despite the news we battle around us.
“The Lord will work out his plans for my life, for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever.” (Psalm 138:8)
God has a master plan. His plan started before the world began, but it was revealed to us when Jesus came! Can we thank Him today for His unwavering love and complete promises?
I remind myself continuously that God sent His Son, Jesus, to Earth, He saved me from my sin so that I can know Him and be part of His family forever and rest in His eternal promises. And no matter what I see in the news, or read or follow, God’s news is the best news I will ever need or read. It settles my every concern.
Jesus gives us power over death and also the power we need to pursue righteousness. He gives each of us purpose as we seek Him day to day and choose His plan for our lives. May we all choose Him before anything else we trust. Yes, the Lord works out His plan in your life and mine!
When we seek God, we will never be disappointed. Please let Him guide you and trust His plan for your life so that you can discover “joy and peace” that come from following God’s way.
