EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

Broken

God had to break me before He could use me. He broke me of things I didn’t even know needed to be removed from my life. It wasn’t an easy process for me, but I learned so much through it as I look back. I had to be completely emptied of myself to be wholly used by God. The process needed to draw me closer to Him took time and extreme pain.

I don’t believe it’s easy for any of us to walk through discomfort, but all too often and more necessary than we may understand at the time, there is greater PURPOSE when we go through testing times.

Tough times come upon all of us when we least expect them. THE TIMES THAT STAND OUT AS HARD ARE CHALLENGING. Our world is changing. Who will help us make a difference? GOD WILL.

Do you want to be used by God? A.W. Tozer said, ” It is doubtful whether God can bless a man greatly until he has hurt him deeply.”

I had to really think this through. It goes against my grain, or what my head tells me about God. But I understand what “God’s truth” tells me inside His word and that is what got my “attention” for a full “surrender”. Verse after verse, I realized I had to be broken of my sin, which I didn’t feel at the time was “that bad,” but I was so deceived. My own comfort of self-consciousness and my own self-sufficiency led me further into darkness. We each can experience this in different ways.

Personally, if I wanted to be used for God’s glory (and I do), I had to be completely broken of myself and realize the need for my full surrender to God, my Savior Jesus Christ.

Through your challenging times, some of you may break in good ways, like I did, by dying to “self”!

Those of you who know me, heard my story of surrender and repentance (the book: Tears to Triumph), but first, God would need to break me in the life that I was living, which I didn’t think was “that bad.”

I am here to tell you I survived! I’m also here to share that sometimes, as we are broken of the things we love the most to be used by God for the things He has created us for, it’s truly a blessing in retrospect. And let me be the first to say, “Oh, the endless blessings that will come from it forward”…

Oftentimes, we don’t even realize we must be broken, but remember, you are His masterpiece. He is the artist. He will use you, but only when you are ready in His time, but your heart must be willing to be fully surrendered and then “remolded” by Him. This comes through reading His Word, relationship and communion with Him and then comes “time~and~change”.

I understand that through any crises we are faced with, it’s hard to imagine the thought of breaking ourselves. But this may be the very thing God uses to get your attention and turn you around to be used POWERFULLY for Him. We need you as a warrior princess. Are you willing to face whatever it takes to be used by God?

I know God “can and will” use each of you.

~Cling to this verse and its meaning and don’t be afraid to be broken by a God who loves you more than anything; embrace it.

“For you are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus, to do the good things He prepared for us to do long ago.” (Eph. 2:10)

…it won’t always be easy, and times are going to prove that, but it’ll be worth it. God will refine you through time❤please keep this in your mind… Your transformation could very well happen through your difficult time.
