EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Our prayers can flow with power over others who may have wronged us. We have the ability to pray without ceasing praying to the God of all the galaxies through the power of the Holy Spirit at work within us and the blood of Jesus which covers us to make things right.
God tells us to rest in Him with our prayers and He will bring it to pass. God knows if you’ve been hurt or wounded by another you can still pray for them and accomplish a purpose. Pray in His will always and He will give you the desires of your heart. God will bring greater insight with our power-filled prayers.
I never knew this to be true until I started praying continuously over a person and situation. Now I can look around me and see the movement of God in this situation. I can look at people I have prayed for and their lives and many changes God has brought. God has put certain things on my heart to pray for and I’ve watched them come to fruition when I pray asking for divine wisdom from Him and then name them back out to God while seeking His will. How can we see God move in situations if we don’t seriously pray over them?
Until we come to a higher calling in our prayer life, how can we ever understand what God is doing? God does not call us to judge with critical hearts in our prayers but to love and treat others with respect and honor just as we want to be treated. We are definitely supposed to pray for one another when we see sin, but we need to cry out to God for “His mercy” instead of “judgment” and ask Him to change hearts of those we see that may be out of alignment biblically.
“You will preach to his people the revelation of salvation life, the cancellation of all our sins, to bring us back to God. The splendor light of heaven’s glorious sunrise is about to break upon us in a holy visitation, all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender.” (Luke 1:77-78)
God has His perspective on every situation. We need to approach Him with hearts of love. We must seek His heart for those walking in deception. God will handle them. We need to pray with power and approach asking for mercy on other’s behalf as well as intercession of a mantel of holiness. If we pray this way, our prayers hold truth and power. God hears our prayers in the right, loving, heart-like attitude. Have the heart of Jesus when you pray to God.
God tells us, “be merciful, as I am merciful.” (Luke 6:36)
“You must love your neighbor in the same way you love yourself; You will never find a greater commandment than these.” (Mark 12:31)
