EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

Our eyes and our senses can’t even comprehend all God has for us to come; exceedingly abundantly beyond…

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” ( 1 Corinthians 2:9)

The apostle Paul made a statement that has thrilled and intrigued me—and hopefully, us all. I walk each morning and pray, and one of the things I thank God for on my list is the fact that I can see. He lets me view with clarity. I see all the beauty He created, but I still can’t imagine what is beyond what my human eye can’t see.

The difference between my eyes and God’s eyes is my human wisdom and the wisdom in the message of the gospel Paul borrowed from the book of Isaiah: “For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!” (Isaiah 64:4, NLT).

God has so much planned for us, can you even wait to see it all?! I can’t! The heavens declare His majesty!!! My eyes can’t yet see the heavens, but I can only imagine…hmmmm, isn’t that a song? Lol.

The believers in Corinth were relying on their “human” wisdom to deal with all sorts of things on earth and their problems in the church. Their eyes had what we might call “tunnel vision.” They were valuing worldly intelligence and philosophy above the message of Christ. I used to do that until God pricked my heart to begin asking for “His” wisdom. Now, that’s ALL I ask for. But let’s not take our eyes off Christ! Paul teaches us that God’s wisdom is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Let’s thank Him for this beautiful wisdom through the power of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:10, 12–14)

God has prepared so much and wants to do so much more for us, in us, and through us if we let Him. He wants to have His way in each of us.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen” (Ephesians 3:20–21).

Let your eyes gaze upon the beauty of all God has for you, and please understand … there is so so much more!
