EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose and will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.” (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)
There is life to everything we put attention to. If we take a seed and plant it with much care, watering it daily and speaking loving affirmations to it, it will produce a beautiful flower. But if we leave that seed to fend for itself, it will eventually become dry and die.
Seeds will not produce the luster you desire if you don’t give it the attention it needs, and so it is with our relationship with the Lord. He has created us with great intentions, but if left unattended and uncared for, we will not grow to become who God created us to be.
We need to lean on God and glean from Him for the truths He so earnestly wants to instill in us to become powerful and mindful children who intently want to pursue Him and become the best outcome of His perfect image.
Don’t cry over the things you cannot change; instead, know that for everything, there is a purpose that will help you draw near to God and closer to the person He has promised you to become.
