EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of us are “problem solvers” and we love to attempt solving problems at whatever the cost may be to ourselves. We set out to make sure that other people’s problems will be taken care of. The world definitely needs more hearts that care for others. We may mean well, but it’s not always beneficial to exhaust a problem that is not ours to solve.
How many times are we tempted to try to do God’s work only to neglect the responsibilities He has given us because we try to do it all? We cannot do it all.
God asks us only to take care of the “possible” issues and leave Him the impossible ones.
Many times we attempt to convict others of their sin and we try to make them want God. We try to make them read their Bible and push them into prayer. These are all things we need to be doing ourselves. Do each of these things with the other person on your mind and in your heart. Seek God on their behalf.
Our responsibility to others is to minister to them with love and not judge or solve their problems or push them. We need to help them with their immediate needs as best we can but it’s our responsibility to pray for them and leave them to Jesus. Pray for their problems and allow God to solve the problems. He may or may not use you to do it. Rest assured, God will do His part.
Salvation and love come from God. Allow Him to convict their soul when He has their attention. Our willingness to come under His authority allows us to do His will joyfully. We can help solve problems with love. Our love can be a grace to others.
Miracles are God’s department. He is the problem solver. We serve God and we show love in every way we can, that’s what we are called to do. He will get the glory for being a problem solver.
“Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.” ( Proverbs 9:10)
Know when to leave someone else’s problems with God and pray for them in all the love you have to pray. That’s being a huge problem solver.
