You are a beautiful woman of God. You have talents, you have gifts, you have the joy of the Lord and it’s your strength.
Tell God about your attributes and how pleased you are in His creation of YOU. Refuse to be envious of others and what they were given or what they have that you might not. When you set your eyes on someone else and what they have instead of what God has for you, be aware that a covetous spirit will make your life miserable dear sister.
“So wherever jealousy and selfishness are uncovered, you will also find many troubles and every kind of meanness.”
“But the wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable. It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness! Good seeds of wisdom’s fruit will be planted with peaceful acts by those who cherish making peace.” ( James 3:16-17)
Don’t allow yourself to be pulled into thoughts of desiring someone else’s looks, hair, body, clothes, husband, “luck”, wealth, and more because the list can go on and on and never end.
Let’s turn our thoughts toward Jesus instead and think about all He is in us. He is beautiful, He is wealthy, He is talented, He has power and so much more. Does He live in you?
Thank Him for the rich inheritance you have in Him and all that this means for your life. Ask God to be manifested in you and through you and display the many talents He gives to you at all times.
