EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Quiet, calm, tranquil time is crucial for the human body, and solitude is very important when it comes to “time alone” with God. It means different things to each of us how we view this, but nonetheless, it’s something we all need.
“After he dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone” (Matthew 14:23)
Some of us have too little time alone and treasure times of quietness, while others who live by themselves have too much of it and may feel lonely.
Jesus was often alone but never lonely because He spent time with God in solitude.
If you find it difficult to make time for alone and quiet focus in solitude, remember God is waiting for you. He wants your time. He has created you to spend time with Him.
The Lord God is with you. He is mighty to save, and He will assure you in the quietness. The time you have set aside for Him alone will bring you close to His love and provision you’ll see just for you.
God will take great delight in you, and He will quiet you with His love.
Zephaniah 3:17 shares what God does for us.
Whether you’re surrounded by noisy family each day or you live entirely isolated, take great joy in spending time alone with God whenever that can happen.
When you have God and have His Word hidden in your heart, you will never be “alone” or ” lonely.”
