EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”
( James 3:16)
Many of us are married. We have husbands whom we love, and we have commitments to them. Those were what we gave before God through vows.
What God joined together, we can not let man separate.
Many struggle with vows they recited years ago and have feelings that tell them things have possibly changed. Maybe so, but there is prayer.
Pray to God to keep strife out of your marriage. Be obedient to the scriptures God asks you to live so that your prayers will be effective and unhindered.
God is long-suffering with us. His love is not envious, nor does it parade itself, and it’s not puffed up. It does not behave rudely or seek its own way. It is not easily provoked, doesn’t think evil or rejoice in iniquity. It rejoices in truth.
The love described above in what you read is from the scriptures. The kind of love we should all be praying for within our marriages and also to love with this capacity. It’s a love that never fails.
If we are the women who possess this love from God, He will protect us from failure.
“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5)
We pray for each of our sisters in the struggle to continue loving their spouse.
