EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How would you describe your current experience with forgiveness? It’s quite astounding that many Christian ladies admit they cannot accept it, either from God, themselves, or both.
Why is this? Possibly it could be that they believe a deep-rooted lie they cannot be forgiven.
To be able to silence accusations and move on to true freedom, we have to look at the picture of Jesus, who paid for our sins on the cross.
“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away.” (Colossians 2:13)
The good news is we don’t stop there; we get to come here…
“Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all of our sins.” (Verse 13)
God has done surgery on us as believers who walk with Him. He alone is able to remove the cancerous tumor that consumes your thoughts, dictates your behaviors, and controls your life. It’s the enemy that stands between you and God and does not want you to forgive yourself for whatever it might be that you struggle with.
God can remove the lies and is continuously fighting for you and me to bring us to a never-ending, abundantly beautiful life with Him.
God frees us to forgive ourselves, past, present, and future, through Jesus shed blood. In Christ, no sin has the power to identify us! I personally thank God I have released my past to Jesus. I was able to forgive myself. I could not be serving in this ministry if I did not. It’s freeing, and it’s available through Jesus and His blood. If you struggle, please pray and ask God to release this Good News to you.
The very fact that the forgiveness of all sins was done on the cross and then forever applied to you upon your belief. By faith, we believe.
God has forgiven you through Jesus shed blood on the cross for the remission of your sin! Please repent and turn from your sin, and then know God forgives you as far as the east is from the west. Then forgive yourself, from past or present, and live in the freedom of what He gave you!
