EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
We are all human beings with limited understanding, but we have God and His word! As we grow and mature in our faith, we increasingly see how little we understand. In fact, for me, on a personal level, the more I see and experience God, the more I am humbly in awe of Who He is and who I am not.
The beauty is we have the testimony of Jesus to stand tall upon. We can see with great clarity that Jesus’s promises are vast and plentiful. Oh, what a beauty to behold. We can stand on His promises despite the reality we don’t understand the struggles we endure in this life.
Some of us face some pretty awful things that we can not understand this side of heaven, but we see in scripture God tells us to “still” be of good cheer! It’s sometimes difficult to comprehend to be of good cheer in hard times but go to His Word. God has reasons to include all His scriptures in His Word.
“In this world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
This is all part of being human.
The Bible has many scriptures that help us understand that we need to have JOY despite our lack of knowledge.
“My brothers and sisters whenever you face trials of any kind. Consider it nothing but joy because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance, and let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete lacking in nothing.” (James 1:2-4)
Hold fast to the place of heaven where we will understand fully well all things we could not see or understand in this short lifetime.
We stand strong when we have faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. No matter where we are or what we go through, the promises of God are for our understanding! That is enough.
