EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
As I sit in my chair each morning during prayer and devotions or walk on my morning walk listening to the Word, I ask God what I should write about for these devotions. It’s amazing how He downloads things through His Word to my brain.
Before I write, I reflect on the Word, teaching truths and His voice with my life lessons with God, and then the Holy Spirit prompts me to use those moments in transparency for story reflections for His glory.
There have been times darker than I wish to describe from my past, but nonetheless, God tells me I should share them and share the victories of overcoming my past coupled with His love in the present, and share it from my heart.❤
I believe that God allows us to go through dark times so that we will reach out to Him and find Him in our present situations. He also wants us so sure of Him~that we NEVER doubt Him! We learn His promises to us are true when we read His Word. Some of us are experiencing dark times through scary places within our life. I encourage you to RUN to His word!!! Your answers are all in there.
Isaiah 45:3 God tells us there are treasures hidden in the darkness!

Treasures!
When you reach to God in the dark times of your life, you will find His hand waiting to grasp yours. I will be the first to say as I reflect on this moment, “God finds my hand in every hurt, every disappointment, every sadness, and every doubt in the darkness! … and guess what? He holds it, and I feel it. It is so comforting!
I know God will grasp your hand, too, and you will find His light in any dark situation if you trust Him; you can trust Him by opening up His Words of truth, and the beauty of it is that His light never goes out! He speaks to you there, and it’s so reassuring. He’s always with you! Trust Him more and try writing these things down.
The enemy needs to know you are not afraid of the dark and that you will shout your praises to God even louder in these times!!! Please do this. You CAN do this! Shout praise to God if you’re in darkness right now, and watch Him move! I promise you He will take your hand and lead you through it, and you too will say, “Only God”.❤
