EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How many of us love to garden? We love to see what we can grow with God’s help. I do too…I might have you thinking of an outdoor garden at this moment with lots of green plants, but actually, I want you to visualize planting a “spiritual garden” for God’s kingdom and what that may look like today with you as the gardener.
How about planting some “seeds of love”? Ask God to allow “your” love that He birthed in you to grow, reaching from you to others today. Try loving others that are difficult to love.
How about “seeds of joy”? Joy unspeakable that comes from within. True inner joy comes from a close, intimate relationship with the Lord. Joy is contagious. You will have plenty of this crop to share once you grow it up. Work on “inner joy” from Jesus.
Plant spiritual “seeds of peace.”
Get rid of all negativity in your mind first. If you have any bad thought, get it out. It’s like a weed. Pray “peace” grows strong and hearty and that it will prevail no matter what tries to infect it.
“The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
“Patient seeds” need to be planted, remembering always it is God’s timing, not ours.
“Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:4)
Patiently wait on God.
Through all these and many more of the yummiest things available to grow, may you grow a spiritual garden of life for yourself.
Always remember what food you should learn to crave:
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is now law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
Let us each plant our seeds daily and reap a harvest of life that others will be drawn to every day we live. Love you all.❤🙏
