EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Evil opposition of any kind actively opposes our God, His will, and His daughters. This opposition manifests in various ways. It attacks us with resistance to God’s work, temptation, and often accusations.
Satan, who rebelled against God and seeks to undermine His authority and kingdom, opposes the work of God and His followers. He is hindering their efforts to fulfill God’s will. He comes after us as a roaring lion, the Bible tells us.
1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober (well balanced and self-disciplined), be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion (fiercely hungry), seeking someone to devour.”
Satan accuses us of wrongdoing and tempts us with sin, aiming to cause us to ultimately stray from God’s path. Pray against the opposition of the enemy. God has you! Be aware that he lurks around to take you off your path. His ultimate goal is to dishonor you and discredit your walk with Christ. The opposition can use doubt, fear, and discouragement to undermine your faith and confidence; stand strong against opposition. Pray for God’s strength.
We need to encourage each other to stand firm in our faith, trusting in God’s power and promises. Resist temptation and choose to follow God’s will, even when it’s difficult.
Pray for strength and guidance to overcome opposition even when it’s not present. Pray a hedge around yourselves. And remember, God is victorious!!! Jesus has already defeated Satan, and you, too, can overcome evil in the mighty Name of Jesus our Lord. Amen!
