VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Sons of the King
Father, today we intercede for our fathers, husbands, sons, and brothers—the sons of the King. Show them who they are in You. You created every one of them intentionally. You molded them with Your own hands to be unique, distinct, and incomparable. Remind them that they do not have to imitate another man’s calling or measure themselves against someone else’s gifts.
What You have placed within them came from You.
In Acts 8, Simon saw the power of the Holy Spirit moving through the apostles and offered money in exchange for that ability. He wanted to purchase what only God could give. But spiritual gifts aren’t for sale. They cannot be purchased, negotiated, earned, or traded. They are gifts entrusted by God for His purposes and His glory.
Father, teach Your sons to rely upon the Holy Spirit to guide, strengthen, develop, and equip them. Where they feel inadequate, remind them that their sufficiency is found in Christ. Where they feel incomplete, remind them that You have called and equipped them. Where they feel incompetent, remind them that Your power works through surrendered lives.
You have called these men to be husbands, fathers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, leaders, servants, and Kingdom disciples. Use them within their homes, workplaces, churches, and communities to bring godly change.
Sharpen them to know Your Word and give them courage to proclaim truth without apology or division. Your Word tells us, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us” (Romans 12:6, NIV).
Renew their minds toward the things of Your Kingdom. May every gift You’ve placed within them be surrendered back to You and used to bring honor and glory to Jesus.
Amen.
