This involves learning to “read between the lines” in situations God brings to light…
Galatians 5:6 talks about kindness. “Faith expressing itself through love”.
We as women need to speak kind words and do thoughtful acts for others, it’s who we are created to be as God’s daughters. It can be difficult in our busy schedules, we all are extremely busy these days with such a focus on “me” and our own priorities. Let’s all try to make EVERY conscientious effort to pay attention to “reading between the lines” when we see someone needy. Ask yourself why?
It’s important to remember that God should be glorified in all we do; we need to be the hands and feet of our Lord here on earth. We should not be constantly thinking of ourselves or how we may benefit; just be humble and willing.
A checklist…are you generous
– With your time,
– Your talents,
– Your money?
It ALL belongs to God anyway, we are just the holders of it…
Women can learn the importance of speaking life into another and see the beautiful results it brings when we do it from the proper heart set.
Affirmations, appreciation and attention to others, it’s giving all 3 of these the proper attention. There is such an act of kindness that would honor Christ when help to others is completed in His Name.
Please pray about becoming a better steward of the attributes given by God. We can all use prayer in this area if we think about it…
… “And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.” (Matthew 10:42)
