EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
All eyes on Jesus and His Word! Anything that takes our eyes somewhere else must be discarded. The world will pursue you and lure you to be tempted and replace heavenly-minded thoughts with the luxury that is temporary. Please be aware of it.
The tug the world has over us is difficult to overcome in our own strength. Be aware of this and ask God to give you a forcefield of protection and strength to overcome fleshly desires.
God is enough. His replacement of temptations is contentment in His love for us and assurance of His never-ending promises. We can never exchange the joy we can live when we keep our eyes fixed on the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The more we feel His tangible presence in our lives, the more we discard what the world has to offer.
Be free from any dangers and entanglement of earthly distractions. Run to Jesus daily. Run into His arms, see the blessings that come through an obedient heart. You won’t even notice what the enemy is scheming when you are in such a safe place!
“You have graced me with more insight than the old sages because I have not failed to walk in the light of your ways. I refused to bend my morals when temptation was before me so that I could become obedient to your word. I refuse to turn away from difficult truths, for you yourself have taught me to love your words.”
