God wants to give you a new heart, a solid heart, a heart that can fight destructive habits. Uncontrolled addictions, inappropriate thoughts, and wrong relationships all take a toll on our ability to fight. This can only be resolved by giving control to God.
This can only happen when you seek God and cry for His help. He will remove your pain and trauma and remove your heart of stone.
“I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.” (Ezekial 11:19)
When we invite God’s spirit to live in us, He gives us a fire in our hearts that can not be put out. He nudges us when to listen. He rescues us in our troubles. He guides us, loves us, and restores all hope.
Ask God to ignite this fire in you. When you verbally confess your sins to Jesus with your own mouth and believe He died on the cross for YOUR sins and was also raised to life on the third day-then you will be saved and given a new heart. The Holy Spirit will burn away all hardness and fill you with God’s love.
The ultimate challenge for heart health is to fix your eyes on Jesus no matter what is going on around you. Surrender your heart to Him and instantly receive the hope that nothing or no one can ever take from you!
