EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“Don’t pretend to love others. Really love them.” (Romans 12:9)
We all experience loss of loved ones in our lives and at times it may seem unbearable. Whether it be friends, family, or even pets, it’s difficult to go on without those we love.
It’s amazing how God can bring joy from sadness. There is “His beauty of love” in everything when we have eyes open to look for Him in those moments of despair.
I befriended the family member of a lost loved one who needed comfort, and then God opened another door to a beautiful friendship through that time as I was able to show her real love. I loved them when they needed it more than me. Even though we both suffered tremendous loss, God breathed a new friendship when I focused on being the hands and feet of Jesus through my own grieving heart. Amazingly, I became such close friends with this person and then God fulfilled yet another plan. God always makes something good out of hard times when we look to Him.
When you ask God to use you in both personal and practical ways to help someone else through loss and grief, you’ll never know who or what might be nestled in the need and about to burst forth into greatness.
Always be ready to show love to another and really love them to Jesus. God makes all things beautiful in His time.
” O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now You have accomplished them.” (Isaiah 25:1)
