EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Deuteronomy 26:17-19 “You have declared this day that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in obedience to Him, that you will keep His decrees, commands and laws – that you will listen to Him. And the Lord has declared this day that you are His people, His treasured possession as He promised and that you are to keep all His commandments. He has declared that He will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations He has made and that you will be a people Holy to the Lord your God, as He promised.”
God has set us apart to be Holy and to live a righteous life. Because of our obedience, He fulfills His promises so that we are at peace and living according to His will.
There is nothing that God won’t do for us and yet we hesitate to do the things He asks of us; maybe because we don’t have enough faith to follow through. It only takes that first step of faith to realize that God’s power and strength are unmatchable and that we can rise above our insecurities if we rely on the confidence He supplies to us.
We will never grow or mature in our faith if we don’t take the blinders off and allow Him to set a new vision before us. We all have to start somewhere and God knows that.
God starts us off small so that we don’t become overwhelmed and step by step we gain the confidence and become more like Him.
