Your shared stories help all of us in many ways. Jesus wants to use all of your gifts and experiences to make you complete and able to be used for His glory!
In Exodus 31:3 we see an example of God telling Moses that He has given people skills, abilities, and knowledge on all kinds of crafts.
What are your crafts, your skills, your gift ladies? What is your heart-felt love in the kingdom? Are you cultivating it and using your God-given gift to see yourself develop even more?
I used to sit thinking and wondering about my own gifts and what they might be. I wasn’t certain and feeling unworthy to say I was even given any, it was almost crippling.
People that knew me would voice what they felt my giftings were when I asked, but I was not certain myself until I actually stepped out trying to use my strengths. I used more and more of my gifts until something began to happen…
Many people became encouraged by the motivations I shared and it brought joy to my soul. I was also told I had evangelizing skills when I spoke of Jesus and His Word. I was encouraged to write more, especially stories God gave me regarding my life. It wasn’t until I actually put these into “action” that I saw them develop before my eyes. I share this to say God gave me the most wonderful gifts to use when opportunities arose and once I stepped out in faith and exercised the gifts, things happened and they will for you too!
Invest in your talents ladies. The Bible says in Romans 8:28,
“… The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us.” As He guides you in prayer He’ll guide you in the giftings He gave you.
Pray for your giftings if you haven’t already. Ask God to reveal what they may be. Ask others to share their thoughts with you about them and give you input about your strengths! Pay attention to what they say.
I NEVER thought I’d be writing, encouraging, or speaking the way God is using me these days, but He knew. It just took my surrender to Him and then the first step of active faith to ‘perfect’ what He gave me as gifts.
You have the ability to do the same exact thing. God won’t let you down. You can serve Him wherever your strengths are! Count on it.
Ask God to help you fulfill your purpose. We are here to help you exercise your gifts with opportunities to serve.
