EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brother’s.” (Luke 22:32)
Many times we can endure hardship, face temptation, and even act faithlessly, but ultimately we have the ability to be “God’s instruments” and do great and mighty things. Who will do this though when you are feeling weak? We all have our moments. We all need a sister.
Our faith needs to stay strong but at times people cave and their faith wavers. Faith is like the foundation of a house. If the foundation gives way, the house will crumble. Our faith must stay solid and strong so we could help others be strengthened in Christ.
We need to pray that our faith will not fail, flounder or fade so that our foundation in Jesus Christ will stay solid. We need to pray this not only for ourselves but for our sisters our brothers and for our Women World Leaders in our group which is growing throughout the world.
When you can’t put your finger on a problem involving someone else, one of the things you can do is pray for that person in order that his or her faith will not fail. In fact, it’s always a good practice in prayer to pray for people whenever you are praying. Pray for your sisters and brothers everywhere, they need us to lift them before the Lord so their faith is strengthened.
Are there any of us who don’t need to have stronger faith?
We also need to strengthen our sisters by lifting them to the Lord in prayer continuously.  It’s just a gentle reminder and this verse confirms the encouragement. We need eachother. Blessed be the tie that binds.
Our country just suffered a devastating blow by hurricane Ian. Many need prayer. May I ask that whoever God brings to your mind at this moment that needs a lift, will you stop and pray for them this very minute?
