EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

God wants us to be dependent on Him in everything and for everything. When we act independently or apart from Him, it springs up a root of pride in ourselves.

Although I never really saw myself as a prideful person, I struggled for many years with self-sufficiency. It was subtle, but it crept into my mind whenever I would take action in my own strength. I had to release all my actions to God. It meant asking Him or consulting Him before I made decisions.

It wasn’t until I realized in making mistake after mistake that I can’t do anything without God and His direction first-above my own. I learned to separate myself from every situation at hand and learn to depend on God for instruction through the Holy Spirit. I needed to collaborate with God, so to speak. And I did. It brought tremendous results every single time!

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.” (John 15:5)

Who wants spiritual fruitfulness in their lives? I know I do.

We must negate our free will to the will of our heavenly Father, each day. It’s not just a “once in a while” option. It’s daily! Use your freedom wisely, dear sister, and be certain to rely on Jesus and not yourself. Your life will begin to take on a “dependence of God” that you’d never realized you’ve needed all along. ❤️
