EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How do we overcome jealousy and envy and comparison when we communicate about ourselves and come to a place where we can embrace our story and be authentic and real without fear?
We bow down and ask forgiveness for the absence of a grateful heart.
A grateful heart, humbled before God allows for powerful things to happen. In John 15 we are told we must abolish these things. We repent of, renounce, and reject any sense of entitlement or ingratitude, jealousy, envy, and the list continues on.
After doing this, then we raise our hands to God in praise. We count our blessings out loud, and by faith, we thank Him for the blessings that are on their way. We pray for our co-laborers in Christ and sincerely lift our own hopes and dreams to the One who loves us.
We trust anew that He has a beautiful plan for us, one that we’ll absolutely love if we’ll only trust Him.
With a renewed heart we receive a fresh dose of hope for our future and grace in our perspective. We refuse to act on or speak from a jealous mindset. As scripture says, we put to death the deeds of the flesh. We give no room for them to grow in our lives. If we want to possess everything God has for us, we must refuse any counterfeit the enemy sends our way.
