EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How did you wake up today, happy or sad? Did you start your day rejoicing?
Gratitude determines our attitude. The more we look for things to be grateful for, the better we become in our attitudes and then it helps the outcomes of our situations. I’m walking this out at this very moment. Trusting God with the right attitude as I await the results of an MRI and head into another one on Monday.
Rejoicing is a habit that we choose. I wake up and purposefully make the effort to thank God for another day to wake up and get to serve Him before my feet ever touch the ground. I rejoice in Him. It has nothing to do with the details of my circumstances in my life but has to do with my heart for God. It has everything to do with my heart being fixed and focused on Him.
I started making a thankful heart a consientious practice each morning several years ago and quickly I see how practice makes my day perfect with Jesus! It’s Him and I as we travel through each day. I trust with a heart of thanks that I have another day on this earth to serve Him.
A heart full of gratitude is key, please hear my heart! Its KEY. Praise Him, even through the storms of life.
When the alarm rings, thank God for new mercies not just for today, but every morning. This is the day that the Lord has made – choose to meet it with rejoicing in Him and gladness to serve Him.
As we head to work or our daily routines of home life – offer continuously a sacrifice of praise to God. Don’t complain. Please don’t complain…It messes your head and makes bad things worse! Thank God for the means to have provisions for yourself. He provided for our families and for healthy bodies to be able to accomplish what we are called to do each day, didn’t He?
When you face sleep time, thank God for your bed, your safe home, for protection over all your loved ones, for the food that came to you that day, thank Him for it all.
And the number one thing in our hearts of gratitude should be thanking God for the JOY of our salvation!
The blood of Jesus has cleansed us, forgiven us, and set us completely free to get through any trial we face.
I know when I face a rough day or a little “more than usual” issues come at me, I’m “in the know” to combat them by always remembering and THANKING God for His sufficient grace.  It covers all my imperfections and sustains me to get me through. My day ALWAYS gets better. Please try it.
Thank God daily for your protection, and provisions, and always praise Him throughout the day.
Make gratitude your point of purpose!
As we think of all He has done for each of us,  our hearts can rejoice and our attitude will follow. Just confess right away if there is any time you get into a bad attitude. Don’t stay in that place. Confess it to God! But do it quickly and in a second. Let’s turn any bad attitude around, rejoice, and be glad in Jesus! His Word tells us to “Rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS! and again, I say rejoice!”
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
