EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Guest Writer: Laurie Sammarco
(John 14:27)
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid.”
The peace of God is always available to us. Sin has a way of cultivating fear, but God’s promises will always override that fear because no matter the situation, we know the end result. Heaven. We will eventually be by our Father’s side.
Our faithfulness will carry us through and sustain us through the hardships. What we are anxious about today will subside when we put our trust in God, claiming the assurance that He is in control.
God has the last word, and what seems difficult to us is simple for Him. Our burdens are temporary because God has a better plan.
Whatever we desire is nothing in comparison to what the Father has in store for us.
So, be patient and ride the storm with the assurance that the waves will not be present forever. God has a way out of it, and it WILL clear. He will not flounder and waste time. Every moment is precious to Him and used precisely in determining our outcome.
Be willing to put aside the chaos in your life and receive the peace that God offers. He will deliver a sweet, calming confidence that surpasses all the anxiety that we are currently experiencing.
What we find in God can never be matched by what the world offers. So trust, believe, and wait on the Lord, for He is coming to assist, restore, and rebuild. Do not stop praying and seeking Him. Be consistent in your walk with Him, and He will make His presence known.
