EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
We give the enemy opportunity to trip us up again and again when we refuse to deal with our fears and insecurities. Often we walk around with the weight of the world on our shoulders and it is obvious to others, but do we really need to do this?
We miss out on the redemptive life when we shove our fears below the surface and put on a fake smile. Yes, we can carry weight and burdens but God tells us to cast our cares on Him, do you listen and give your worries to Jesus?
We learn at a young age to cover up our imperfections. The problem is, there’s not enough makeup in the world to make us whole. We can put a bandaid on boo boo’s to somewhat fix them temporarily or even hide the wound- but the wound is still there, only hidden… underneath it’s still there and most likely so is the pain.
If we really want to know true beauty, if we really want to live full and free lives, we have to give God access to those places we work so hard to cover up. Are you covering up a wound, acting as if life is grand? Think about it.
Be real with God.
Be vulnerable with others.
We are all human together.
Mistakes happen, hurts come, doubts and fears can settle upon us, issues raise their ugly heads often, but don’t give in to carrying it all alone.
When the weight is heavy God says what???
“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” ( 1 Peter 5:7)
Don’t let go of this scripture. Hide it in your heart and give it ALL to Jesus in your prayer time. Amen.
