EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE

“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith – of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire – may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

“Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:6-9)

Jesus says “You are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1) We are His children and even through the worst of times, if we remain fully connected to Him, He will reveal to us the purpose of our pain and how it can lead to His restoration.

God will give us the ability to persevere and overcome and be a light for others to live by. When we take our eyes off of who we are in our own problems and then focus on the Lord, the scales on our eyes can then be lifted.  We can see and experience who God is through the circumstances that surround us.

There is beauty beyond the darkness and a reason to move forward in faith. You can control your reactions and allow God to give you the strength and courage to face your adversary. With full confidence you can be assured God will not allow the evil to crush us because our minds will be impenetrable. Satan has no right to the passage God created for us.

Take your pain, give it to God and watch Him overcome the circumstances you have been left with.
