EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
I have found that many strong believers have had some disruption in their lives that put them into a “search mode.” Searching for a solution to their life issues to be exact. How do we search for the right solution (God) or how do we point others ultimately to find God?
Oftentimes, searching for God comes when someone faces a situation in which they have no control. The closer the crisis comes to them, the more intense the search for God becomes. I find this to be so correct from experience as I am able to hear hurting hearts open up and share with me.
To resolve the disruption going on around a particular person, the chaos can take people on a journey…guide them in the right direction of seeking God first… and that is most certainly where it must begin. This is what the Bible instructs.
(Matthew 6:33), “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness”…
After finding God, then it involves becoming the right person. We must be the person filled with the right kind of love that Jesus shows and then watch your own life transform. As your own life changes into an example of Jesus and His love, see if it’s something others would want or admire. Examine yourself daily. They will know we are Christ followers by our love.
Then, there is more! We get to take others on the journey with us. It no longer becomes searching but serving. Just as Christ said, “follow me” to His disciples, we should bring others on the journey to follow Jesus with us. How can YOU do this?
It all begins with “seeking FIRST the kingdom of God” and watch the disruption and searching others or you are experiencing, dissipate. It will vanish before your eyes and you too can be the leader God has called you to be. Chaos falls by the wayside as you seek – God – first!
