EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How do we be a steward of things pertaining to our Lord?
As a Christ follower, stewardship means recognizing God as the ultimate owner of all things and acting as responsible managers of His gifts to us, including our time, talents, resources, and everything given to us to glorify Him and serve others.
The foundation of stewardship lies in the understanding that God owns everything, and we as daughters are merely stewards or managers of what He has entrusted to us.
As stewards, may we be responsible for using our gifts and resources given by God wisely, ethically, and for the benefit of others! May we also be accountable to God for teaching others about stewardship.
Use your time wisely for prayer, service, and spiritual growth, rather than wasting it.
Use your talents by developing and using your gifts and abilities to serve God and others.
Use your resources by giving generously, living frugally, and avoiding greed and materialism on your part.
The list goes on and on with things like caring for where we live and using resources as a reflection of God’s creation.
The Bible provides numerous examples and teachings on stewardship, emphasizing God’s ownership and our responsibility.
Stewardship is not just about what we have, but how we live. Jesus, the ultimate Good Steward, calls us to follow His example in every area of our life, using our gifts wisely, serving others humbly, and making time for what matters. Let’s embrace sacrifice and care for God’s creation in every single way. (and I know you understand what I’m saying here…)
