EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE
Do you ever stop to look at the condition of your heart? Cultivating a healthy heart in relation to God involves seeking a relationship built on trust, obedience, and a heart open to His love and guidance!
We need to understand the importance of our hearts when it comes to being right before our Lord!
“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” (Proverbs 4:23)
This scripture is a reminder to us that your heart is the source of your thoughts, emotions, and actions, and its condition significantly impacts your life. Often we go through our days unaware of our heart condition before our Father in heaven.
Let’s get God’s perspective because God values the condition of your heart and desires a relationship built on a heart that is open to Him and His Word.
God promises, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekial 36:26)
This signifies God’s desire to transform our hearts, enabling us with a closer relationship to have with Him. I prayed the prayer for God to give me a new heart when I made my full surrender to Him in the garden in Isreal. And He did. My whole life radically changed that night.
I encourage you, my sister, to regularly engage in prayer with Him each day, seeking His guidance, forgiveness, and strength. How can we ever go through a day without that? I shake my head in sorrow to think of the time in my life I did! The absence of communion with God was dark. Ugh!
Immerse yourself in God’s Word, allowing it to shape your thoughts and actions. I couldn’t breathe if I didn’t hear from Him through His Word each day! My life is completely different. Remember, His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, and we need it in our lives!
You can also express your love and gratitude to God through worship, whether through music, prayer, or service, acts of worship show the condition of your heart to our Lord, please don’t forget Him through the day today.
And remember, acknowledge your sins and seek forgiveness from God, allowing Him to heal your heart before you pray. It’s vitally important to go before our Holy God with a clean heart!
Yield your heart and life to God’s control, trusting in His power to transform you. You will never go wrong with surrender!
