EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
You are not a failure! The Bible tells us failure, portraying both individuals and nations are prone to mistakes and sin. The good news is we see it emphasizing God’s grace, forgiveness, and the potential for restoration and learning from failures.
Examples of Failure- but God!
Adam and Eve:
Their disobedience and fall from grace are a foundational example of human failure. But God!
King David:
He committed adultery and murder, demonstrating the potential for even those in positions of leadership to fail. But God!
Peter:
He denied knowing Jesus three times, highlighting the fragility of human faith and the possibility of even close followers failing. But God!
The Israelites:
They repeatedly disobeyed God and failed to live up to their covenant obligations. But God!
And Moses:
He struck the rock instead of speaking to it, demonstrating his own fallibility, even when tasked with great things. And God! He shows Grace and Forgiveness!
Even in the face of failure, God offers grace, forgiveness, and the opportunity for repentance and restoration.
Have no fear because our failures can be opportunities for growth and learning, helping us all to understand our weaknesses and rely more on God’s strength. I’m thankful for all my mistakes that brought me closer to my Savior. I learned!!!!!
God can use even failures to work out His purposes and to teach any of His children valuable lessons. Please remember this…our failures don’t define us, but instead, we can focus on God’s love and grace. What a beautiful thing!
I love this scripture!
Psalm 145:14: “The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.”
And this one!
Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
2 Corinthians 4:9: “persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Amen! Again and again.
