JUSTICE
God will bring justice for you where justice is due. Your faith and hope in Him suggests that His power will ensure fairness and right outcomes in your life, even in the face of hardship or injustice.
God is just and will bring justice, and we learn this from His Word, the Bible.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.” ( Psalm 37:6)
“He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice.” (Isaiah 42:1-4)
“Will not God bring about justice for his elect, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?” (Luke 18:7)
God’s justice is rooted in promise. God is fair and righteous. The promise of His justice offers comfort and hope to us who may be suffering and experiencing some type of injustice in our lives.
Have no doubts, sisters, there will be consequences for wrongdoing, both in this life and the next, as God’s justice is a matter of divine retribution. Those who do evil will be punished, and those who are wronged will be avenged. We can trust His Word for this.
“Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” (Romans 12:19)
God, not us, should handle justice and retribution for wrongs and we should not seek revenge but leave room for God to do as He committed.
Justice will be His.
