VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Who to Love?
There are moments in life when we sense a shift—when it becomes clear that it is time to move forward, even if we do not fully understand why.
Jesus experienced this.
“Now Jesus learned… so he left…” —John 4:1–3 (NIV)
Though His ministry was thriving, He recognized the timing. The season had changed. And rather than remain where He was, He chose to move—into unfamiliar territory.
Through Samaria.
A place many would avoid.
A place filled with cultural tension and division.
And yet, it was there that He chose to minister.
To reach beyond what was comfortable.
To extend love where it was least expected.
What does that mean for us?
Sometimes, following Him requires leaving what is familiar.
Sometimes, it means stepping into places we would rather avoid.
But in doing so, we reflect His heart.
A heart that sees beyond boundaries.
Beyond labels.
Beyond expectations.
And in that place, love becomes visible.
Truth becomes evident.
And lives are changed.
