EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE

Justification through Christ is our core of doctrine that signifies God declares us righteous.

It’s not based on our own merits, ever, but through faith in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, which grants us forgiveness and acceptance in God’s presence. Justification is God’s declaring a person righteous, meaning they are considered free from guilt and punishment for sin. We can look at it as like a court declaring someone innocent.

We must understand it’s a gift, not something we can earn through good works or following a law. God’s righteousness is given to believers through our faith in Jesus Christ as our only Savior and Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross atoned for our sins which satisfied God’s justice.

By believing in Jesus, we are declared righteous, and God sees us as if we had never sinned. He loves us that much! It’s grace, faith, and atonement.

Romans 3:23-26: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as an atoning sacrifice by His blood, to be received by faith.

Romans 5:1: “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Galatians 2:16: “Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.”

Wow, His Word is such a powerful Word of truth! We love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
