EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Guest writer: Laurie Sammarco, Pembroke Pines,  Fl.
James 1:4 (NIV)
“Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
We often wonder “Is Jesus hearing me? Why am I going through such trials? Is it not enough to believe?”
No, it’s not!
Jesus wants more of you; all of you and if it takes praying day and night and seeking His face without ceasing then let it be so. The Father doesn’t need to prove anything to us. He proved how much He loves us when He left it all on the cross and died for our sins. Jesus died so that we may have life and live in abundance through His grace.
The trials will not end, but when we’ve matured in Christ, being made in His image and made righteous, we can be healed by His stripes. Only then can we look at our trials differently and see them as our testimony in having grown closer to the Lord.
God has equipped you with all you need to sustain your life and to show others you are a force to be reckoned with. You stand with Gods strength, ready to battle and rebuke anything that comes against you and then you can become that forcefield.
When you feel God isn’t doing anything to relieve your circumstance, ask yourself what are you doing to draw closer to Him?
Jesus wants more than what you are giving. Don’t settle for anything less than what God intends for you.  He wants to give you everything. Don’t give up! Pray fervently and earnestly as God says to do so.
You can be given what is lacking in your faith (1 Thessalonians 3:10) God will give you what you lack, when you come to Him seeking nothing but His presence and your desire to be closer to Him.
