VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Well With My Soul
In our pursuit of wellness, we often focus on physical health—nutrition, exercise, and caring for our bodies. But true wellness encompasses much more. It includes the mind and the soul, all intricately connected.
Neglecting one aspect can lead to imbalance, affecting our overall well-being. While caring for our physical health is important, achieving true wellness requires tending to our spiritual health as well.
For many, the journey toward wellness in the soul begins with healing from past trauma. Unresolved wounds and emotional burdens can weigh heavily, hindering our ability to experience peace and fulfillment. As we begin to confront and process those experiences, we open the door for restoration.
Central to this healing is our relationship with Christ. True wholeness is found in Him. He invites us to come as we are—broken and imperfect—to receive His love and grace.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want… He restores my soul.” —Psalm 23:1–3 (ESV)
Spending time with Christ is essential for nurturing our souls. Just as we prioritize physical exercise, we must also prioritize prayer, time in the Word, and stillness before Him.
“Do not be anxious about anything… and the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 4:6–7 (ESV)
As we incorporate these rhythms into our daily lives, we begin to experience the fullness of life God desires for us—walking in peace, freedom, and wholeness as our souls are restored.
