Regarding perfection and performance, we won’t always do it right. We will fall, we will fail, and we’ll trip over ourselves at times. Thankfully, Jesus cherishes us every bit and all the way through just as much as when we miss the mark.
We can feel, at times, our footing is on a slippery slope, and we are about to fall from the place we are standing. The good news is there is someone waiting to catch you every time. He makes a way through the challenges life throws at us.
“Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” (Psalm 55:23)
Scripture clearly says that God’s power is perfected in our weakness and that His spirit is at work within us to make us more like Him.
God is good to us every single time we have a need. Do you see Him at work? Have you paid close attention to Him in your life? You need to know that He is good.
“Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he has done for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagles!” (Psalm 103:2-5)
