EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Do you know that God says He will satisfy us with a long life? Psalm 91:16
We will not be “satisfied” until we fill our lives with Jesus, though. That is the true satisfaction that God is talking about. If we allow Jesus to come in and fill the empty void we’ve all had at one time or another in our lives, God will give us a long life and satisfy us as we live it out.
…” with a long life I will satisfy him.” (Psalm 91:16)
God gives us promise from His Word that He will sustain us with His protection and provision.
My heart comes alive every time I rest in God’s promises of what He says in His Word. There is such truth about the salvation of God in His protection, deliverance, health and provision. These are promises we can hold on to. These are promises that satisfy. These promises remove stress from our minds if we let them penetrate and see the goodness of God at work. Stress causes death. God brings hope.
Please trust God for His promises that are true. Refuse to waver. Make God’s word your final authority, even if you are told otherwise in whatever comes at you. God’s Word stands! Read Psalm 91, and in that chapter is a package you can trust.
Since I had my accident in December, I’ve allowed God in to satisfy my life with His Word, and while recovering it has been nothing but peace in my heart that all will be well. Knowing the enemy has been hard after my life, I trusted God in the moment of my fall down those 20 stairs. He allowed me to live, even though I went through that dastardly fall. He protected me as I fell backward with no railings on either side that could hinder the crash. I had no idea falling backward what the crash at the bottom would look like. Yes, satan wanted me dead, but God said, “NO!”
God intervened. Psalm 91:11 came alive to me over and over before, during, and after my recovery.
I will never stop testifying of this miracle of living. God’s word is TRUTH!
Now He said to them, “These are my words which I have spoke to you while I was still with you, then all things which are written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets AND THE PSALMS must be fulfilled.” (Luke 24:44)
Our minds can never begin to comprehend God’s goodness, how He satisfies us, and how He gives us a long life. Hide in Him!
