Many of us have our focus around the globe, wondering what everyone is experiencing, only to wonder if there will ever be “true peace” within our own land where we live? God tells us that the day of peace is coming.
“Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are Holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous deeds have been revealed.” (Revelation 15:4)
God has a plan for you where you are. Do not be afraid of what’s around you when it looks like it may only be turmoil and life spinning out of control.
“The Lord gives His people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.” (Psalm 29:11)
God tells us in His word that we must always keep our eyes fixed upon Him and His Word. His word is everlasting Truth to illuminate our paths in times when the path looks dim without illumination. The light is there, you must look to see it.
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You.” (Isaiah 26:3)
Please don’t let Jesus out of sight worrying about the troubles of this world. He has overcome the world.
Jesus says, “I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world can not give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27)
Jesus is our light of the world even when we often see gloomy days with no sunshine, He shines brightly in our part of the world.
Remember, Jesus has overcome the world and true peace is found in Him. He is there for YOU.
