Where Is God?
Have you ever wondered, “Where is God?”
Sometimes the answer is right in front of us.
While photographing a full moon rising over the pier in St. Petersburg, Florida, I noticed something interesting. As the enormous pink moon lifted above the water, many people nearby seemed completely unaware of the breathtaking sight. They were focused on other things.
As I edited my photos later, I reflected on how easy it is for people to miss the evidence of God all around them.
Scripture reminds us that creation itself points to the presence of our Creator:
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1, NIV)
As a nature photographer, I’m constantly amazed by the intricate beauty of God’s design—from birds and wildlife to the sun, moon, and stars. Every detail reflects His creativity and power.
Even the earth’s position in the solar system reveals His perfect design. A slight shift closer to the sun would burn us. A little farther away and we would freeze.
None of this is accidental.
Romans 1:20 tells us that God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—are clearly seen in what He has created.
So the next time you step outside, pause and look around.
Notice the sky, the trees, the birds, the beauty of creation.
And remember: the same God who designed all of this loves you more deeply than you could ever imagine.
