CORRECTION
God’s correction is a way of showing His love for us, helping us grow spiritually, and making us better daughters to do His will on earth.
We can look at correction from God as a form of discipline. God can do this through His Word as He did for me, through Godly leaders as He also did for me, in the church which He also did for me, and through pain which I had to endure.
We can look at correction from God as a good thing and as part of our training. Learn from mistakes and make changes. It’s something I had to do, and hopefully, you did as well if you personally know Christ. I made drastic changes to get on the path of obedience and full surrender to God. I was a mess! Now I’m strong and solid in my Savior.
When God shows He is correcting you, surrender to God’s will! Ask God to show you how to move forward after correction; He will.
This can lead to healing, reconciliation, and understanding like it did for me. And thankfully, correction can help you grow spiritually.
Please memorize these scriptures with joy:
Proverbs 12:1 says, “Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.”
Job 5:17: “Happy is the person whom God corrects! Do not resent it when he rebukes you.”
Proverbs 3:12: “For the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.”
