VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Well With My Soul
When we think about wellness, we often focus on physical health—exercise, nutrition, and caring for our bodies. But true wellness goes much deeper than that.
Real wholeness includes the body, the mind, and the soul.
Over the years, I’ve walked alongside many women on their journey toward health. What I’ve learned is that neglecting our spiritual and emotional well-being can leave us feeling empty even when we appear healthy on the outside.
Many of us carry wounds from the past—trauma, disappointment, or emotional pain. These unresolved experiences can weigh heavily on our souls, preventing us from experiencing the peace God desires for us.
Healing often begins when we bring those wounds before the Lord.
Psalm 23 reminds us of God’s heart for restoration:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” (Psalm 23:1–3)
Our relationship with Christ is the cornerstone of true wellness. Through His grace we receive forgiveness, redemption, and the promise of new life.
Spending intentional time with Him nourishes our souls. Prayer, reflection, studying Scripture, and quiet moments in God’s presence allow Him to restore what the world has drained from us.
Community also plays an important role in this journey. Walking alongside fellow believers provides encouragement, accountability, and a reminder that we are not meant to navigate life alone.
Even self-care can become a sacred practice when we allow it to reconnect us with God’s peace.
My prayer is that each of us will experience the fullness of life God desires—living with minds renewed, bodies strengthened, and souls deeply restored in Christ.
