VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Planted
Like a tree with deep roots planted beside living water, my soul longs to be firmly rooted in God.
Life brings challenges—sometimes gentle rains and sometimes overwhelming storms. Yet through every circumstance, God remains my shelter and salvation.
The more time I spend in His presence, meditating on His Word and listening for His still, small voice, the deeper my roots grow.
Scripture beautifully describes this image:
“They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.” (Psalm 1:3)
God’s Word nourishes my heart the way water nourishes a tree.
It strengthens me.
It guides me.
It reminds me who I belong to.
As I allow His truth to fill my mind and shape my life, my actions begin to reflect His love. Others begin to see His presence working through me.
Every day is an opportunity to grow deeper in Him—to surrender more fully to the Gardener who tends my life with perfect care.
He knows exactly how to prune, nourish, and cultivate the fruit He desires to produce in us.
I am planted.
Deeply planted.
In Him.
For Him.
Through Him.
And as I grow, my greatest prayer is that everything in my life will bring glory back to the One who planted me.
