EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of us woke up weary this morning while many are “gung ho” about this day ahead. Today, it’s about the word Perseverance and it is pressing in for today. Let us pray for one another as we push through another day and make it a great day of living for Christ!!!
Perseverance helps you make progress even when things get tough or you need to push through. It is important for Future Success. When you work toward your goals and dreams, there will be obstacles and setbacks. But if you persevere, you’ll make progress, learning a skill that will pay off in the long run. We pray your skill involves Jesus.
James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
We have reason by God to push through our goals and be a finisher!
James 1:12 is one the most targeted Bible verses about perseverance, imploring us not to give up, even when we face trials.
The sense here is that the Christian who perseveres in godliness and the spiritual disciplines will be blessed in the very act of persevering. I feel we’d each agree we all desire to be blessed.
The more we persevere in our Christian life, the more God grants His blessings upon us, thereby enabling us to continue to persevere toward excellence.
The psalmist reminds us that there is great reward in persevering in the Christian life. In keeping God’s commandments, there is “great reward” and for a fact, in this ministry of Women Leaders, we vow to God to push through and accomplish things with excellence.
We are here to encourage one another as we move about in this process. May you be one that does not easily give up today, or any day. You have God with you! You can do ANYTHING with Him.
