(Revelations 1:7-8) NIV
“Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
We don’t know exactly when the Lord will return; if we did, we would be more prepared to receive Him.
The horrific things that are happening in this world today are signs and causes of His imminent return. We need the power of His swift hands to come and clear this world of the ruins it has caused.
We all are in need of the Lord in a mighty way, but do we act as though we need Him? He will come again one day in all His glory and find many asleep or preoccupied with the things of this world.
I pray that He doesn’t catch any of us by surprise or claiming to Him, “Wait, Lord, I’m not ready yet.”
God is merciful. He gives us more than enough time to get it right and to acknowledge His Son as Savior.
Will you be left behind because of your procrastination? May we examine our lives? You are a child of God; called by God to represent Him and to speak of His love to everyone you can. He chose you because He wants to use you.
Don’t hesitate to take a step forward, for He will prepare your heart for what is to come and who you will reach. You will worship due to the amazing ways that He will present Himself, and His grace will fall upon you.
He is expectantly awaiting your acceptance and is willing to give you everything you need to claim Him as your own and be the shining star that represents His glory. Can we pray with you to receive Him?
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
If you’ve not acknowledged Jesus as your Savior and asked for forgiveness for your sins, please personally pray to Him.
Tell Him you’re sorry for your sin, and you acknowledge He died for you personally. Ask Him to please forgive your sins and cleanse your heart. 🩷🙏
