EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Have you ever felt what it’s like to be an object of criticism, especially for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ? It is definitely not a good “feeling.” We may even become defensive.
It may be that others have made fun of your faith or criticize your commitment or even faulted your service to God or sneered at your love for Jesus. It’s all very difficult to take in. It saddens our hearts.
What do these comments actually do to your heart? Do they stop you?
We all react differently to the many ways that we are treated for the sake of the cross in serving our Saviour who died on it for us. Some verses of scripture that may help you are:

We will show mercy to the poor and not miss an opportunity to do acts of kindness for others, for these are the true sacrifices that delight God’s heart.
We don’t stop ladies!
For every child, including you- God has a life plan. God created us for that plan. He prepared us for it and He’s preparing others for us. Remember, they criticized Jesus first, doesn’t mean He bailed on us. He followed through because of His great love for us while we were yet sinners.
We can rest assured that He see’s all, knows all, and is in control of it all. We only need to follow His lead.
God’s perfect provision has been made for each of us. Criticism will happen, expect it. Do not let your heart be troubled. Be obedient to Christ Jesus and by that obedience you can be fruitful in every way, to every good work, despite criticism that may come your way.
